NOTE: The intimate “Insights and Sounds” event scheduled for Thursday, July 26 at 6pm will now take place at the gallery at Niman Fine Art (125 Lincoln Avenue, Suite #116, Santa Fe, NM 87501). The audience will enjoy a preview of Michael Namingha’s photographically inspired exhibit of the western New Mexico landscape Georgia O’Keeffe called “The Black Place.”
The program stands as previously planned: artist Michael Namingha will speak about his work currently on display at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in relation to Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings of the same landscape, and a quintet from the Santa Fe Desert Chorale will perform selections from its “Sure on this Shining Night” program which evokes the beauty of the natural world. The O’Keeffe staff will distribute passes to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum to all “Insights and Sounds” ticket holders for a free visit to the collection on another occasion.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change in venue.
Tickets $25; O'Keeffe Donor Circle members ($1,000 level and above) and Desert Chorale Circle members save 20%.
